Brownstown's Center for Health Services wins national patient satisfaction award
Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital's Center for Health Services in Brownstown is a three-time 2009 Press Ganey Summit Award winner, achieving this distinction in three separate areas by sustaining an overall rank of 95th percentile in each reporting period for a minimum of three consecutive years in Ambulatory Surgery, Emergency Department and Outpatient Services.
The Summit Award, Press Ganey's most prestigious honor, recognizes the commitment of physicians, nurses and staff to provide only the highest quality of care.
James J. Sexton, FACHE, President and CEO, Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital, is proud of this accomplishment achieved by the Center for Health Services staff. "The entire staff is truly extraordinary. They put each patient first and do their very best to ensure that everyone has a positive experience while in their care."
The Center for Health Services opened its doors in March, 2006. "As our volumes grew it was important to us to maintain the same level of outstanding service as the day we opened," stated Michael Anctil, Administrator, Outpatient Services.
Pam Haddix is the manager of Surgical Services. Haddix was chosen as a presenter at the Press Ganey panel discussion on Best Practices to be a Consistent Patient Satisfaction Award Recipient.
"Many people came from other Henry Ford facilities to work at the Center for Health Services. Henry Ford Wyandotte Hospital is recognized as the 'employer of choice' among the work force. We work on providing a great work environment; it is a good means to retain talent in a demanding industry," Haddix, of Newport, said.
